Great list! Its awesome to see this type of writing. Non condescending, funny, with sources to back it up! This is a great example of this type of factual article. Keep em’ coming!

  • Anon

Pretty strange article as I have not seen many arguments why these things could lead to an america that is supposedly “female”.

But oh well, glad I do not live in a country that has a history full of problems and crisis’ on national levels.

    • There isn’t a country in the world that doesn’t have a history of problems and some crisis on a national level.

      • Anon

Notice the part “Full of”, the history I’ve read about the US, I have yet to find a time where peace and stability was an every day thing, even countries like Holland, India and Paraguay beats US to it.

        • nova

What about Canada? Unless you’re Aboriginal, of course.

  • Not a bad article, but it does seem to be forgetting one important thing, and it’s basic but seems to need repeating: correlation does not equal causation.

    • Jack

I found the “us vs them” mentality completely jarring regardless of any logical fallacies.

      • Anornae

Awwww poooooor baaaaybiieeeeee! You’ll be ok. At least you’re not treated like women are treated.

        • Felix

“At least you’re not treated like women are treated.”

You mean getting everything handed to me on a plate? Getting support all through education, even special courses like “Women’s Studies” etc.? Not having to worry about dying in a war or at the workplace (oil rigs, construction)? Being adopted more often?
What the hell are you talking about? Maybe you should take another look at the article you’re commenting on.
No, what you actually mean is “like women WERE treated”. You, and almost all the rest of women, seem to somehow still live in the 50’s of the last century, or even before that. Stop behaving as if you’re fighting for your right to vote, we granted it to you long ago.
And don’t gimme that crap that women are earning less, that’s just because there are still a lot of women out there that raised kids 20, 30 years ago and then came back to work, while men kept working throughout. Women under the age of 30 now earn up to 8 % MORE than males. I would love to be treated like this. Oh, and let me guess: When women earn more, it’s NOT about discrimination, it’s because they earned it. It’s only discrimination when it’s the other way round.
This constant hypocrisy and hubris is what makes the modern “loser man” prefer videogames instead of interaction with females.

          • “You mean getting everything handed to me on a plate?”

That happens to both sexes and neither sex at the same time.

I’ll admit, though, that Women’s Studies is not my idea of feminism moving forward. Might’ve been a long time ago, but not any more. Sill, you’re definitely wrong about women not having to worry about dying in war or the workplace; they do work in dangerous factories and in the military just like men do. It’s just either not seen as often thanks to gender roles instilled in nurture since the beginning of time, and because of public perception (I remember reading a great article on the treatment of female soldiers compared to male soldiers, but I cannot find it again even after searching for several hours).

And hell, I even cited a court case about work wages and discrimination and you’re still talking bullshit about it. That certainly wasn’t about wanting women to earn more, rather about earning an equal amount, which is the whole point of feminism: equality. Anyone who says otherwise is simply incorrect regardless of what they think they know.

Which brings me to the last ultimatum: we already know men are discriminated against, too. Everyone is. That’s completely obvious. Feminists actually work toward removing their woes, too (keep in mind, a feminist is not a misandrist or a “femnazi”). It’s all about equality, not a shift in power.

If the Y chromosome doesn’t exist, that means that nothing will reproduce, and intelligent life will cease to exist.

    • Jack

Depending on how humanity handles the next 5 million years, there won’t be any X chromosome either…nor life on Earth….nor Earth.

      • Ariam

Apparently you don’t understand the concept of evolution.

        • Jack

Sorry, I was off by a factor of 1000. I meant billion rather than million. I was supposed to be hinting at the sun expanding and melting the planet.

      • anon

Earth will not cease to exist unless hit by a very powerfull force that would bash earth in many bits and pieces, however, human life and maybe because of us, many if not all life forms will die out eventually, after that, evolution will do its work again, but it is only a matter of time now.

        • Jack

          The sun expanding sounds like a “very powerfull force”. Though I did mean billion rather than million. An error of 10,000 percent is nothing to sneeze at ^_^;

    • kate

yes, but for a few decades things will be lovely.

  • Me

Strange thing happens. More females means less males, that means more competition for male’s attention (considering most females are natural not lesbian)….
I’m male and i often hear from many, many females complains like “there’s no real/good/active (etc) males there (meaning for me)”. And at the same time we have this kind of mentality kind of “F* off men”, “we don’t need them”.
Only the problem is where there’s no men, there’s no development.

    • As a lesbian, I must wonder: are you saying I’m not natural?

Also, what do you mean by “development,” and why do you say that?

      • DK

Umm, I think he means that in nature the normal order of things is
        1. Man has sex with woman
        2. Woman gets pregnant
        3. Woman gives birth, hence “developing” the human race
I’m not against gays and lesbians, but technically that sexual identification is not natural, otherwise sex (ie. the REPRODUCTIVE act) between two men or two women would also produce off-spring…and yes I do realize that homosexual tendencies/behaviours have been documented in the wild with penguins, monkeys, dolphins and probably many more…

        • anon

Homosexuality is found in over 450 animal species, however homophobia is only found in 1, care to rethink your theory about unnatural behaviour`?

          • anon

What did his post, pertaining entirely to the impossibility of two of the same gender sexually reproducing without any outside assistance, have anything to do with homophobia?

    • Anornae

You’re clueless. Yes. Most women would stay with childhood girlfriends for most of their lives instead of being separated from them, usually by marriage to a man and such. You’d be surprised.

It’s true what they say: a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.

No men no development, my ass! lmao. Dude. Women make the best everything, pretty much.

  • Matt

There is one thing the writer didn’t mention. I read somewhere that some scientists believe that the X chromosome almost wiped out Y thousands of years ago. But it succeeded in repairing itself. If I find the source I will post it

  • God

the y chromosome willl be gone because it will mutate into something even greater than it was and the x chromosome will still be the same weak inferior of the 2

    • How is the X inferior? Males have one too; we’re just homologous. The entire purpose of the Y chromosone is to override the innate ‘female-ness’ of an organism.

      • X says

LOL. There is that minor education factor that they were speaking of “god”. Your archaic sexism and lack of education will play a roll in your “survival of the fittest.” No chic in there right mind would date a guy like you…

  • brian

of course women will become strong they already have all the rights…It’s time for men to become whiners so we can get back to where we were.

    • StudyingPsychologist

Oh, yes, women have all the rights, which is why we’re paid less for the same jobs as men and are expected to handle all of the household chores…

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m being sarcastic.

I’ll really hope you’re joking and if you’re not, please get an education. If that’s too much for you, don’t try the dating scene, you won’t get far.

  • lol

I’m guessing this article was written by a feminist lesbian?

    • As a feminist lesbian, I can tell you, “No, it wasn’t.” A feminist is someone who fights for equal rights between the sexes, and it’s called feminism simply because, for that to happen, women have had to gain more rights. Despite popular belief, it is not an ideology toted by a bunch of misandrists. Despite what most people will say, there’s actually still a discrepancy on both sides of the spectrum.

So considering that and the way this article was written (for instance, calling women “them”), this article obviously has a different agenda going for it, and not one I’m in support of as, you know, a feminist lesbian.

      • Ariam

        Thank you.

        • Jim

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb? None. Feminists can’t change anything.

      • nap

Pardon my ignorance, i dont fully understand what you are saying here.
        You wrote

“A feminist is someone who fights for equal rights between the sexes, and it’s called feminism simply because, for that to happen, women have had to gain more rights.”

What rights are women lacking? I ask because i dont know of any rights that men are allowed that women are not also allowed. Im not trying to pick a fight, I realy am confused that there are still unequal rights.

        • Feminism has existed for a couple hundred years now, so the gap has definitely shortened since then. However, one big thing I can mention is business practices, which are messed up all over. Women tend to be paid less on average than their male counterparts, and Wal-Mart was sued over it. Despite what the first part of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution says (which grants equal rights in general), Wal-Mart miraculously won the suit. Because of that, I’ve never bothered to sign up for Wal-Mart; that and some of their other policies, like the “death tax,” but the sexist practices are my ultimatum.

          • Landon

Why is it that men can be sexist, but women ca only be “feminist” and “fighting for equal rights? I know plenty of sexist women. The Y chromosome stopped shrinking a long time ago. And as for most of everything else on this list, it’s more of and argument that the stupid males (which is not all males, by a long shot,) will die out. Which would mean males would be improved overall…. not the best argument for women taking over the country.

            • Keep in mind, I did not say women can’t be sexist. Nothing in my posts should’ve indicated that; I am not sexist whatsoever. And, after all, men can be feminists as well.

This is replied if you’re actually responding to me, though, because you made comments regarding the article as a whole otherwise. I would comment on the rest, but frankly, I don’t care about the chromosome bull, because genetics don’t truly affect behavior like a lot of people think they do anyway (big reason why sexism still exists in the first place).

        • StudyingPsychologist

To add to Redhead’s comment, there are still jobs that are considered “male” and “female.” Like how nurses are usually female and doctors are usually male. If you were to meet a male nurse or a female doctor, you’d be a bit disoriented or confused. Also, “female-gendered” jobs are paid less than “male-gendered” jobs that are similar or even require less work/education.
Also, women, even if they work full-time and are the bread-winners, are expected to handle the domestic chores of the home. Men who handle the domestic chores are often ridiculed for doing so and thus most men avoid it.
As well, in marriage, a woman usually is expected to take her husband’s surname. It is near impossible for a man to take his wife’s surname and sometimes, the government won’t recognize it.

          • Mark K

I don’t know what backwater country you’re living in but nowadays it’s rare that I get seen by a male doctor.

A more interesting point would be male primary school teachers, very few of those about. Is it sexism when the majority of either sex think males around young children = paedophilia?

            • magiccarpet

Why don’t we swap jobs with the woman they can work in the construction industry and we can sit in those nice comfy chairs on Facebook. Also to support your last comment what would happen if this was a 6 year old girl and a bunch of semi naked men
(you may want to mute it)

            • Wow, that is unbelievable and not in a good way. I weep for our world when I see something like this. At least it has 17,000 dislikes vs 2,600 likes. Still, what kind of deviants think this is worth liking. I hope they are saving any money that kid is making for his future therapy bills. He is going to need it.

          • Landon

Still, there are more female doctors than male nurses, and as you said, men are ridiculed for doing the domestic chores. Kind of an argument for sexism against males there, huh?

      • Anornae

Yes, thank you for the explanation and for your work. I hope you do not observe “gender” or “orientation”, but rather sex and preference, respectively.
We are making serious headway. I can tell by the males’ frantic and typically violent interjections! 😀

  • Ariam

This is one of the most poorly constructed arguments I’ve seen in a while.

  • lojak

This isn’t a very well thought through article is it? Or was it just written by a feminist? On #2 men not getting jobs? you know why? because they want some women to look at, cold hard truth #1 not every mans place is dirty so they say here #5 we die on job sites way more often cause we have to deal with way more dangerous stuff then most women do the sexism one? all i can say is learn how to take a joke but apparently not cause they made this page about male inferiority, i could go on more but ill just stop right there i have no more to say to this page

    • Anornae

Chill out brah. Dudes are dying out cause the earth is like “no thanks”. Breathe.

  • Miscer

Strong feminism in this article. Most of your points are made from assumptions or psuedo. Please quote STUDIES not news stories.

    • Anornae

      Strong feminism. Vewwwwy gooooooood.
YOU must look up the studies. She gave you plenty to go on. Try not to expect others to do all your work.

  • nobody special

Speaking only about number 5, statisticaly the most dangerous worksite jobs are mostly populated by men, good or bad thats where the numbers stand. That is the only reason for those numbers to be what they are. I’m not saying women cant do those jobs, merely that they dont want to in large enough numbers to alter that statistic. How many offshore oil workers, deep sea welders, hazardous material handlers, coal miners, forge material handlers, or any of ther other most dangerous job holders are women? Again not saying they cant, just that they dont/arent for whatever reasons. Honestly id like to see a bit more equality there, I’m all for equality between the sexes, and equal share of the dangers of the workplace come with that.

    • Landon

  • dominique heffley

    Onward Brothers!

    • Anornae

That didn’t make you sound grandiose or lame or anything.

      • Landon

He’s right, it doesn’t. It has that sort of idiot humor that makes you choke on your cereal. 😀

  • Female

How about America’s future be equally distributed between males and females? That sounds like a better idea. The only men that are declining are the one’s who think women don’t deserve any rights. Maybe we should all just work together instead? Or… maybe I’m just an “idiotic woman that has no idea what she is talking about”… Please excuse me…

    • Landon

No, as a man, I totally agree. All this arguing gets us nowhere. I mean, there is no “wining” here. “Hooray, we wiped out all of the males/females on earth, and proved our superiority! Now the human race gets to die!”

  • Christian Madsen

I hope you had a good time writing this because to me it was nothing more than the typical american undocumented and non-proven brainfarts. Good day 🙂

  • Matt Terrell

Lol wtf this is laughable..and men get killed more on the job cus we do alot more dangerous jobs..always have always will..and the millionaire is funny..all the rickest people in the world are men..dont see that changing
